Building my wife's pond in Mexico

by jim
(mexico)

We are living now on the pacific coast of Mexico.

Our backhoe buddy dug the hole for the pond but we have limited access to building materials.

To improvise, we use durable sandbags in place for the waterfall, lined the bottom of the pond with sand and are ready to place the Carlisle Rubber Roof Liner(we brought it here from the states).

There obviously is very little carpet available for a side wall protector, so we sewed these durable bags together with fishing line and draped them over the sides.

Our friends will help install the liner, provided there is plenty of beer here.

Finding pond skimmers and pumps will be a test as wild goose chases here are the norm.

I will write back when we finish and share my mistakes.

Adios

Jim
