Pond Heaters and Deicers!

Pond heaters are designed specifically for aquaculture, fish farming, commercial aquarium and research applications.

The pond deicers keep area of the pond's surface from freezing. This will allow toxic gases to escape and oxygen to enter.

The floating deicer does not require a guard and operates with internal thermostat, which turns the unit on at 35°F and off at 44° F.

Some people tempted to "heat" the bottom of their pond. Why would you want it "heated?

I have never had a need to use the deicer, submersible heater or an aerator because circulating water and working waterfall keeps water from freezing while providing plenty of oxygen for fish to breathe.

Well, submersible heater should help keep fish from freezing. Your fish will "hibernate" around to keep themselves warm.

What makes me comfortable to be without all those necessary accessories is the knowledge that I have built my pond depth based on the instructions for creating healthy pond environment.

Obviously, just because I do not use any of these devices does not mean you should not ether.
