Tropical Day Blooming Blue Lilies!

Tropical day blooming blue lilies, although similar to the hardy water lily, generally have showier leaves and blossoms that are richer in color.

When planting pond lilies, 6” to 18” of water should be over the crown.

Their blooms most often stand 4-5” above the water and they flower all summer.

Pond water lilies have hardness to Zone 8.

Viviparous.

’Electra’

Flowers June, July, August, September and October

One of the most striking blues ever.
Large, light blue flowers open well above the water’s surface.
Speckled buds.

’Excalibur’

A very striking blue that produces many blooms with long petals held in perfect form.
Needs large container and lots of fertilizer to do its best.
